Just a quick fact the burro to mustang ratio is 9 to 1! I wrote my last paper on burros and they are actually really cool, the more I learned about them the more interested I am in looking into adopting one. We do alot of hiking and backpacking so they would be great for packing.

I just stumbled across a web site that allows your to sponsor a mustang or burro, I thought it was pretty cool for all those people who want to help out but are unable to own one for them self's. There are so many neat programs that are used to help the American mustang and burro's out!

I watched the movie Hildalgo the other day and even though it is kinda cheesy I still really like it because they are showing that no matter the breeding and lines of the horse a mustang can do it all and come out on top. And honestly it show how great mustangs are and can be.

I was reading about draft horses and mustangs and here are a few facts that I found interesting; Some times Draft horses were abandoned due to economic failure or because they were replaced with a tractor, Other times they were deliberately introduced to "dilute" or "improve" the wild herds, by adding size and cooling the natural temperament of the "hot" Spanish horses. I found this interesting because its fun to see all the different sizes and shapes of all the different mustangs at the BLM sales.
